Paramount Wins Gold at AIS Awards 2011
Paramount Office Interiors were awarded the Association of Interiors Specialists’ Gold Award for office interior fitting-out at a prestigious event held at The Dorchester Hotel in London. Paramount received the award in recognition of their work in providing a new regional headquarters for KMPG LLP, one of the UK’s leading providers of professional services, at 3 Assembly Square, located in the heart of Cardiff Bay.
Paramount’s Managing Director and Chairman-elect of Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Nigel Roberts, commented:
"I am absolutely delighted to have received the AIS Gold award in recognition of Paramount’s commitment to the delivery of KPMG’s prestigious new Cardiff home. The Association of Interiors Specialists’ Awards is an annually held national competition, established to reward the achievement of the highest quality in the design and construction of office interiors. Paramount were short-listed from over 70 nominated project in their category, drawn from across the UK and, encompassing fit-out projects of the highest calibre.
In selecting Paramount for the Gold Award, Cyril Reddan, partner at Bamber and Reddan, principal architects to Selfridges London, commented;
"The quality of build is first class and to achieve the stage of practical completion Paramount had to comply with a tightly monitored procurement process which resulted in tendering and the appointment of 28 separate sub-contract packages. I consider this project to be particularly good in meeting the corporate client brief and completion within a short programme and within agreed costs…....Congratulations to all that were involved."
