England V Wales Client Sailing Regatta
The first challenge was to get everyone from all parts of the country together at the Hamble Marina. The committed crews arrived in good time and to a welcome of bacon rolls and coffee. Everyone changed into their respective team “T” shirts. The rivalry began as we readied ourselves for the wild adventure.

The morning was spent getting to know our 40ft Yachts and practice races. Wales took the lead during the morning racing! We moored up in Cowes for a most enjoyable barbeque lunch. In the afternoon the real fun started with 3 exhilarating races in somewhat challenging waters, namely in excess of 40 knots. So, who won ? ... well it was England, sorry Wales but you lost out on the trophies of champagne... no doubt Wales will be back next time to compete for the title.
